MEST is the company that clearly has the most apprentices in the Faroe Islands. There are usually approximately 60 apprentices in various craft areas, as well as office, trade and logistics.    

As a craftsman, you have the opportunity to develop skills in several professional areas - for example machinery, electricity and steel. The training takes place in such a way that there is a shift between practical work at MEST and schooling at a technical school. The apprenticeship is 4 years, of which 55 weeks are schooling.
