Faroese and Icelandic Pelagic vessels have upgraded to hoses from Polyhose

During the last year most of the Faroese pelagic vessels and a number of Icelandic vessels have switched to  2’ hydraulic hoses from Polyhose. This has proven to be a succes and the response from the vessels has been very positive. Polyhose is an international company witch works closly with some of the biggest manufactures around the world.

MEST in the Faroe Islands has it’s own workshop where the hoses are produced and delivered according to your needs. MEST can deliver wherever you need to get the product.

The large hydraulic 1½’ or 2’ hoses, which are assembled and mounted at MEST, have a number of advantages for the large vessels:

• Smooth cover which reduces the chance of damge to the hose
• No skive fittings – all is in one piece – produced at MEST
• The fitting takes up very little space – so that the hose comes closer to the hose drum
