MEST delivers new buffer tank to MOWI

It was a spectacular scene when the new 30M3 chilling and buffer tank “Twister” was transported to MOWI in the Faroe Islands. The tank is used for chilling and bleeding of salmon – and has a comprehensive control system which monitors the temperature and each step of the way – so that one can receive optimal quality each time.

A large truck and police escorts were needed when the tank was transported via the new subsea tunnel to Strendur at MOWI’s production premises.

Have a look at the dramatic photos.

MEST delivered in December a similar tank to Bakkafrost in the Faroe Islands.
